Learn to safely harvest wild edibles in the Twin Cities with the North Country Food Alliance! This month we are shifting gears on our foraging program, as prime foraging locations are becoming less common as winter approaches. Therefore, we are focusing on cooking with foraged foods rather than harvesting them. This day we will learn to make fruit sauces from apples, pears, and aronia berries. We will also have wild grapes for jelly-making.
This event will be held at 4200 Cedar Ave S. Please bring jars if you would like to take some home. Suggested donation of $5-10 to cover cost of materials and space. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
